So long DWTS!!

This amazing journey of Dancing with the Stars is sadly coming to an end. I have to admit I was very surprised last night, but the experience has been so wonderful that I am just grateful for the time I had on the show. I have made such amazing friends through the show and am looking forward to seeing how the rest of the competition goes.

This week has been a whirlwind. First, all the rehearsing and the dance off on Monday’s show. And then right after the results show, Tony and I went straight to Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss what happened. I appeared on GMA to talk about DWTS as well. It’s all still such a shock and I can’t thank my fans and supporters enough for all their votes.

To let loose, I am going to Vegas this weekend for some much needed R&R. I plan to relax with family and friends and rest my dancing feet for a bit! But not for too long, I have found a new passion in dancing and plan to continue on.

Thanks to everyone for all of your support – I really feel the love!!

Paso Doble Results!

The competition is heating up each week as we get closer and closer to the finale! Audrina and Tony danced their way to a great score of 24 last night! Not to mention, 8 additional points in the marathon round! They looked fierce in red as they performed the Paso Doble! We can't wait for next week, and remember to keep voting Bongo fans!!!

Audrina Post!! Week 6!!

The pressure is on!  I can’t believe its week 6 already.  Its been a really exciting week and I am pumped to dance tonight.

We are doing the Paso Doble for today’s show.  It’s a Spanish dance, very lively and almost march like. It’s modeled after the Spanish bullfight. You will have to wait and see if we go with traditional music or something more unusual!

My outfit is still in the works but I can’t wait to see what I am wearing.  The costumes are great and its really cool to wear something new and intricate each week that goes with our dance.

It feels great to still be in the competition. It is a lot of hard work, but I am loving the experience.  It’s really been a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am trying to take in every minute of it.

To let loose last week, I hosted the “Just Dance 2” release party at Las Palmas in LA.  It was such a great time.  It was so fun to get out and celebrate all the hard work I am putting in for DWTS.  I wore one of my favorite Bongo jeans – they are a really great dark wash skinny jeans.  I got so many compliments on them!  I also did a dance battle with Karina Smirnoff and Brandy which was amazing.  So fun and to think I could be having a dance battle is crazy – I just started really dancing when we began rehearsing for the show!  I even got in the DJ booth for a quick DJ lesson.  I had a ton of fun, but couldn’t stay out too late, I still had to be well rested for rehearsal the next day to start on my new dance.  I hope you like it!

Remember to vote this week!

Audrina Q&A

We spoke with Audrina a few days ago, and she gave us all the scoop on life of a Dancing With The Stars contestant!! Check out Bongo's EXCLUSIVE chat with Audrina Patridge!!

Bongo: Take us through your rehearsal schedule, how many days a week are you practicing? How many hours a day? What time do you get to bed each night?

Audrina: The rehearsal schedule has been intense, but fun! We practice seven days a week, between 5-7 hours a day. I try to go to bed at a decent hour every night to make sure I’m feeling refreshed for the next day’s rehearsal. Usually between 11-11:30 p.m. at the latest.

Bongo: What’s your diet been like since starting the show? Do you have to eat certain things to keep your energy high? Have you had to give up any particular foods?

Audrina: My diet hasn’t changed much since starting the show, since I’ve always been a pretty healthy eater. Though, I have been eating a lot more carbs and eating more often. Skipping meals and missing those nutrients just isn’t an option when you’re burning that many calories. We’re burning so many calories a day, I’m hungry more often than I used to be but I haven’t had to give up any foods.

Bongo: Are nerves high on Tuesday? What’s the energy like backstage?
Audrina: Nerves are definitely high on Tuesdays, but the energy is amazing and keeps us anxious, excited and on our toes. It’s always sad to know someone has to go home though.

Bongo: How are you getting along with the other cast members? Who have you become close with since starting the show?

Audrina: I get along great with the other cast members. I have become close with Jennifer Grey, Florence Henderson… everyone really. We all get along really well, it’s been wonderful getting to know so many new people.

Bongo: Dancing With The Stars has gone on tour in the past with previous contestants? If given the opportunity, would you like to go out on the road?

Audrina: You never know – right now I’m just focusing on each competition as it comes and giving it my best every week.

Tune in to ABC TONIGHT at 8pm to watch Audrina and her partner Tony Dovolani take on the rumba!

GO TEAM AUDRINA!!! You have our vote!

Last night's dance!

The dances are getting harder, the stage is getting smaller and the judges are getting tougher! What did you think of Audrina and Tony’s tango last night? We thought it was great and the judges were too harsh on them. But we might be biased :) Who do you think is going home tonight?
Don’t forget to vote for Audrina!!

Week 4! Argentine Tango!

I am definitely feeling in the Dancing with the Stars groove this week after Tony and I won last week with the highest score!  Yay!!!  It was an amazing feeling after all that rehearsing!  But even though we are in first place going into this week’s competition, we still have to keep practicing because things can change at a moment’s notice at DWTS.

Tonight we are performing an Argentine tango. It is a very passionate dance with kicks, flips and lifts.  The song is 70's rock, very different from traditional music for tango and the dance is very feisty and fun. Argentine tango music is much more varied than ballroom tango music so we were able to incorporate a non-traditional music choice which I think you will really like.  My outfit is black and red and very spicy!

Speaking of spicy, I was able to relax a bit this weekend and treat myself to some enchiladas with chips and salsa with guacamole, Mexican food is my favorite food.  It’s good to indulge once and a while and kick back with friend s and family.  It’s been hard to fit in time to see everyone with all the rehearsing but it’s important to me to make sure I see my friends and have some down time when I can.  I love throwing on a great pair of Bongo jeans, a cute top and going to dinner with a group of girlfriends.  It’s always so much fun!

I also want to give a shout out to my fabulous partner Tony who followed through on his word and waxed his legs this week!  He promised he would for our next dance and he gracefully posed for photos with his newly bare legs!  He’s definitely a trooper and a great partner!

Make sure you vote tonight so we can stay #1 for another week!
